Jialiang K9
Jialiang K9 offers well-regarded veterinary services, boarding facilities, dog training programs, import/export service for pets and even a very successful breeding program. Dog training programs are comprehensive
and trainers can teach commands in English and German.

Naughty Family

Shanghai Muyi Pet Hospital
Muyi is a government-approved vet hospital so fees here are very reasonable. The facility is clean, well-ventilated and has imported medical equipment. Dr. Gong, one of the senior vets, comes highly recommended by foreigners and locals alike.
Dog & Cat Animal Hospital
Set up just last year, this small and clean hospital is open 24 hours, all year. They have two Korean groomers onsite, boarding services and a good selection of pet supplies available.

Pets Are Wonderful (PAW) Veterinary Clinic
One of the few western-trained vet hospitals in Shanghai, PAW is well known among the expatriate community. Dr. James Holder, the vet surgeon, has a good understanding of the issues pertinent to pet ownership in Shanghai and is passionate about the animals under his care. In addition to pet supplies and pet food, PAW also provides a small area for boarding facilities.

St. Anthony Animal Recovery Hospital boasts state-of-the-art medical equipment and a lab onsite which enables them to produce same-day blood test and organ function test results. Dr. Stephanie Goltz has extensive training in internal medicine and is extremely caring of her patients.

BARK owner Barbara Delaney offers personalized grooming either in-house or at her grooming center. Her skilled groomers use an eco-friendly brand of dog shampoo imported from New Zealand. BARK also publishes a monthly newsletter with interesting news, helpful tips and fun photos.
Pet-in-Shanghai
A certified dog trainer, Sabrina Feng can train at a training facility or at the client’s home. And her service also extends to training ayis how to handle dogs. So far, Sabrina is the only English-speaking private dog trainer in Shanghai and her training is popular among expats. Other services provided include pet-sitting, dog license application and pet exportation.

Petland
Franchised from the U.S., Petland opened in Shanghai in 2008. The store carries pet supplies, pets and offers grooming services. The majority of the pet supplies come from the U.S., Germany, France and Japan. The Petland spa features a reputed Japanese cleaning agent – Microbubble – that purportedly cleans and unclogs pets’ pores.

Pet Zoo aims to be a one-stop supermarket for pets. It occupies a huge space divided into the store, grooming area and boarding area. The store itself is so big that they provide trolleys for their customers to cart all their items. And they stock 55 shampoo brands for dogs alone!
